Jerome is a kind, respectful, and service-minded young leader at the Seminole Boys & Girls Club. Known for his sweet personality and willingness to help others, Jerome consistently looks for ways to make a positive impact on those around him.
Jerome has big dreams for his future. He hopes to one day play basketball for the Chicago Bulls and continue his education at the highest level. Beyond his personal goals, he also aspires to become a mentor for younger boys—someone who can guide and encourage others the same way he has been supported.
Along the way, Jerome has faced challenges, including hearing others speak negatively about his family. Rather than letting that define him, he has learned to stay focused on his own path and decisions. With encouragement from mentors like Coach Brian, Jerome has been reminded of the importance of respect, self-discipline, and staying committed to his goals.
That focus is showing up in his achievements. Jerome has earned honor roll recognition and is making strong progress in iReady reading, demonstrating both academic growth and personal responsibility. He understands that success requires sacrifice—choosing to stay focused on his work, even when he would rather be playing with friends.
At the Club, Jerome leads by example. He is always one of the first to volunteer when help is needed, whether supporting staff or assisting other members. His actions consistently reflect his character—thoughtful, dependable, and encouraging to others.
Jerome’s story is a reminder that young people thrive when they have someone who believes in them and speaks life into their future. With the guidance of mentors and his own determination, Jerome is building a path defined by purpose, discipline, and a desire to lift others along the way. America Needs Club Kids.
