Event Description:

Get ready to show off your skills at the Hoop Decatur - 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament! This is a family-friendly competition for ballers of all ages who think they have what it takes to dominate on the court! With separate leagues for females and co-ed teams and age groups ranging from 8-9 all the way up to 19+, there's a division for every skill level and age group.

Held at Oak Park Elementary with 7 goals available, this two-day tournament will feature intense games with a 15-minute time limit or until the first team reaches 20 points. Each basket is worth 2 points, so every shot counts! And with prizes awarded to the top two teams in each division, there's no reason not to put your skills to the test and register today.

Leagues:

  • Female League

  • Co-ed League

Age Groups:

  • 8-9

  • 10-11

  • 12-13

  • 14-15

  • 16-18

  • 19+

Basic Rules:​

  • Every Field goal made is 2 points

  • 15 minutes per game/ or first team to 20

  • Proof of age when registering (birth certificate, report card, driver's license)

  • Cut off day for age is September 1st, 2022

  • You can only play in one division

  • Take it back rule - free throw line

  • 6 team fouls, 7th foul = two free throws

  • Overtime is determined by free throws (each player on the court shoots a free throw)

  • Coin flip to determine first possession

  • Designate one team captain-each TC signs off on the final score sheet

  • 2 - 30 second timeouts per team

  • All out-of-bounds must be taken out at the top

  • 3 game guarantee

  • Jump ball alternating possessions

  • 10 foul 2 free throws & possession
